2017 Hyundai Xcent facelift launching today: Xcent diesel and petrol price in India, interior, engine specifications, ground clearance & other details
Hyundai, South Korean auto manufacturer is all geared up for the launch of two thousand seventeen Hyundai Xcent facelift in India today which will sport major cosmetic updates inwards out along with inclusion of all-new 1.2-litre diesel engine. With the enlargening competition in the sub-compact segment, India’s 2nd largest car maker is looking to refresh its one of the best selling cars in the market. Having said that the car gets cosmetic upgrades, it will give the compact sedan an appealing look on the outside as well as inwards. Likely to be priced in the range of INR Five.Five lakh – INR 8.Five lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the fresh Hyundai Xcent sedan will be raising the bars for the competitors like Maruti Dzire, Volkswagen Ameo, Honda Amaze and the likes. Ditching the conventional front end design, the fresh Hyundai Xcent facelift will be seen carrying a 6-slat hexagonal chrome grille design alike that of Grand i10 along with smoked sweptback headlamps, LED DRLs, fresh bumper, fog lamps, side cladding, assets coloured door treats, and much more that proffers the sedan with ordinary and sleek look. The updated Xcent sedan will be suggested in both petrol and diesel engine options wherein it will proceed to sport the same 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine while the current 1.1-litre diesel unit will be substituted by 1.2-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine. The petrol engine is tuned to produce eighty two bhp along with peak torque of 114Nm while the fresh diesel unit will churn out 74bhp and 190Nm of power figures. Both the engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual unit as standard while the petrol engine will also be coupled to a 4-speed AT gearbox as an option. The updated Xcent facelift will be suggested in five variants wherein the base variant will be derived as E and top of the line variant will be SX (O). Moreover, the company will also include all-new variant – E+. The remaining two variants will display up in the line up are S and SX variants. Considering the fact that the fresh Xcent will be feature rich, it is expected that the sedan will be priced slightly higher than the current model which is expected to fall in the bracket of INR Five.Five lakh INR 8.Five lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of safety, the car will be tooled with dual front airbags along with alternator management system (AMS) as standard and much more.
