Bizarre moment two cars crash into each other while attempting to navigate a roundabout – but who is to blame?
The issue has sparked debate over lane discipline and who should have remained in their lane
THIS is the dramatic moment two cars barge into each other as they attempt to navigate a confusing roundabout.
The prang has sparked an online debate about who's to blame after the petite white hatchback and larger black saloon crash side-on near Sheffield.
Motorist David Blandy prompted a fierce online debate when he posted the footage with the caption: “Collision on the Viaduct Bridge, Sheffield. Black car or white car to blame?”
Some have suggested the white Mazda two was in the lane for the very first exit on the roundabout and moved into the path of the Audi.
But others said it was the Audi who switched lanes, causing the accident.

At the commence of the movie, the white Mazada two is seen driving in the left lane with a black Audi A4 a few metres ahead in the centre lane.
Both lanes permit vehicles to go straight ahead. As the two vehicles inject the roundabout, the white Mazda commences to overtake the Audi as they pass the very first exit and they hit side-on.
Paul Milgate wrote: “How is that Audi's fault. White car switched lane surely.”
Helen Bason said: “White car can go left or straight ahead which is what it was doing, black car was obviously attempting to switch lanes.”
Rich Atkin commented: “I read white car's fault with that, he has no straight on.”
Kevin Spike Toms said: “My opinion for what its worth, white car at fault. the black has the lane lines the same distance from his near side continuously until influence.”
Jamie Scott wrote: “Observed it a few times and both look like in wrong lanes”
